Ngoombi Indigenous Farm
Ngoombi indigenous farm
A few minutes walk from the hostel,
Ngoombi Farm is where people from the
local Aboriginal community work on different projects, and grow a variety of crops.

Travellers staying at the hostel are invited to visit the farm and share a unique cultural and educational experience.

For those who want to learn more about the culture and history of the Aboriginal people of Australia, it is a special opportunity to meet and interact with the people themselves.

It is important to note that the farm is not a 'tourist attraction' and should not be considered as such. There is no 'show' and no entrance fee.

It's not every day that you get a chance like this to meet the indigenous people of Australia, and expand your knowledge about their society.
When you get to the hostel, ask the friendly managers, Jon & Cheryl, to help arrange your visit to the farm - its one you'll remember.
